Every year Colgate offers a range of prizes and scholarships across Australian Dental schools. Visit the link below to see the range of prizes and awards on offer
There are numerous scholarships on offer this year for students who:
- Live in rural or remote areas
- Are going on placement in a rural or remote area
- Are of Indigenous background
- Are passionate for the field and want to work in rural areas in the future

ADA Grants for Rural and Remote Dental Students
Seven grants, worth $5000 each, are available each year for rural and remote students from Victoria, new South Wales, South Australia, the Northern Territory, Western Australia, Queensland and Tasmania. One grant is awarded to each state or territory.
Students from any of those regions who are enrolled in an Australian Dental School and who comply with the eligibility criteria stated in the Terms and Conditions may apply for consideration by the Panel.
ADA Grants for Indigenous Dental Students
Five grants, each worth $5000, are awarded each year.
Students who identify themselves as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander; who are enrolled in an Australian Dental School; and who comply with the eligibility criteria stated in the terms and conditions may apply for consideration by the panel.
NSW Regional Dentistry Scholarship
The NSW Regional Dentistry Scholarship aims to support a student with strong links to regional New South Wales to train for a professional dental career. The scholarship is awarded annually to a student commencing dentistry studies.
The one-year scholarship has a value of $4,800. The scholarship holder will also have access to mentoring support from an experienced dentist who is based in regional New South Wales. The NSW Regional Dentistry Scholarship is supported by Senator John Williams, The Nationals Senator for NSW, and is administered by the National Rural Health Alliance.
