Each room is allowed a maximum of 4 people, so plan accordingly.
You can enter you preference of hotel (Pullman Sydney Hyde Park Hotel OR Novotel Sydney Central) in the “additional information” section upon check-out at ticket registration. We will try our best to satisfy your preference, but we cannot guarantee you will be staying in your hotel of choice.
Pullman Sydney Hyde Park Hotel

  1. From the airport, you can catch a taxi/uber.
  2. Alternatively you can catch the Airport Link Train (which departs from Platform 1) to Museum Station. From Museum Station, it is a 5 minute walk to Pullman Sydney Hyde Park.

Novotel Sydney Central

  1. From the airport, you can catch a taxi/uber.
  2. Alternatively you can catch the Airport Link Train (which departs from Platform 1) to Central Station. From Central Station it is only a 5-10 minute walk to Novotel Sydney Central.
Both Novotel Sydney Central and Pullman Sydney Hyde Park are approximately 10 minutes by car/bus to the university. Any transport organised by ADSA from the hotels to the university will be confirmed shortly.
Both Novotel Sydney Central and Pullman Sydney Hyde Park are also only 10-20 minutes away from the university via public transport.
The ADSA convention is an opportunity to not only network, but to learn. Lectures and workshops are not compulsory however our academics and guest presenters have donated their time to share their knowledge with you. As future professionals, it is hoped that you will conduct yourself in a manner that is appropriate and respectful, which includes attendance at lectures.
There will be some free time in the schedule that you may choose to fill as you wish.
A range of packages are available, so purchase the one that suits you best. However you will pay for everything the package includes, even if you choose not to attend.
The rooms at both the Pullman and the Novotel are standard hotel rooms. This will include 2 double beds in a single room but will not include a kitchen, aside from some appliances such as a fridge and kettle.

Bookings & Ticket Sales

Yes! If you are unable to attend, a replacement delegate may be sent in your place at no extra charge. Notification must be made in writing (convention@adsa.org.au) and received prior to the event commencing. However, sharing of passes is not allowed.
Unfortunately no. You and your friend will have to purchase individual tickets.
We have strictly limited numbers of Early Bird tickets, so our advice is to get in ASAP before they sell out! There will be a second round of Early Bird tickets, but these will be more expensive than those in the first round. Once those sell out, we will release the full price tickets (which are still an incredible bargain for what’s included!).
Your individual ticket includes access to the single event your purchased for.
For social events, this will include entry fee and beverages, with food at certain events.
For academic days, this will include the full academic schedule for the day as well as lunch, and morning tea if it is scheduled (see academic timetable).
Please note, it does NOT include merchandise or transportation.
Do you have a question that hasn’t been answered here? Email convention@adsa.org.au with your enquiry and we will get back to you ASAP 🙂
