- The Cairns campus is equipped with superb teaching facilities and provides access to researchers as part of JCU’s College of Medicine and Dentistry.

- With a focus on Tropical and Rural Health at JCU, 5th year placements can take to an array of locations! Just a few to name are Tasmania, Darwin, Japan, Fiji, Solomon Islands, Cambodia, Sri Lanka.
- In our last trivia night of the year, with everyone’s efforts, we managed to raise a grand total of $700 which we was donated to The Young Animal Protection Society (YAPS) – a non-profit organization that shelters abandoned dogs and cats in the Cairns area
- On the 5th of August, 2017 the first of many Inaugural MIPS Cups were held between JCU’s Dental and Medical Cohorts, with Dentistry coming out on top as the overall champions for the year!
